About

Kevan Halson has been working with photography for over 20 years. Early on, a career in advertising production in London, New York and Europe placed him in direct contact with every aspect of the photographic process from the photographer, to the printing and publication of the final image, using both the traditional processes and the digital.

In the mid 90's Kevan took advantage of the opportunities presented by digital technology in the creative market and opened his own digital production company specialising in print. The business became a great success and over the years its reputation for quality and primarily its reputation to push digital technology to and  beyond its limits attracted more and more artists to work with Kevan on their projects.

In 2000 Kevan asked to work on a number of art and archaeological projects for a company based in Madrid in Spain. The opportunity to work with new technology and combine traditional processes, working on major creative and historical projects around the world was not to be missed.

During his time in Spain he worked both as a photographer and specialist printer on projects including photographing historical artifacts and sites, both in Spain and around the world, and worked with artists such as Marc Quinn and Anish Kapoor to name but a few.

In 2006 Kevan settled in Tuscany, Italy, where he has restored an old farmhouse and began working on a series of personal photographic projects. the first of those projects "Atrophy" was exhibited in Italy in 2014.  His wealth of experience and excellent eye have enabled him to produce a body of work which is outstanding and has received a great deal of praise from his contemporaries.
